Redline hp boost?

Anyone no as I don't what modifications can be done big or little to increase hp beyond rl setup. A base car I have an idea, exhaust, intake, chip. How much more hp can you aspire to add on without just going to mallett for a conversion?

Just a guess but based on what I have read, the turbo unit in the rl is torque based not pressure based and is controlled by the ecm, so I am thinking I am going to be keeping my eyeballs on some of the tuners to see what they come up with first, since we will probably know alot more once we see what they get on simple re-program of the ecm

Who knows I'm hearing 20psi from the stock turbo setup gm ussually run a little conservative so maybe a retune can get another 1-2 psi out of the boost or maybe 10 - 20 hp

Further reading in the other thread says the turbo is maxed out at 20 psi

so I think my first guess is way off

better try this thread they sound alot smarter than me

Boost levels?
