Sorry for your loss.
I never really had a problem with street racing until I saw a motorcyclist wreck trying to race me in my Vette.
Going down 75 in downtown Dallas, he pulled up next to me and rev'd a lot, kept trying to get me to run with him. I wouldn't do it just because I dislike racing personally, especially bikes. Next thing I know he takes off, clicks through a gear, goes up on the front wheel and at (I'm guessing) 110mph the bottom of the bike goes straight out from under.
He was wearing a t-shirt and luckily had a helmet. Back took the brute force of the wreck and removed most of his skin. He got up though, went and pulled his bike out of traffic to the median then passed out. I pulled over and watched it all happen and called an ambulance.
