Come on everybody...at least he's original. The worst part is not the wing, it's the exhaust.
Hey, I hear if you angle the exhaust right into the back of the rim, with the right angled spoke pattern, the rim can act like an exhaust fan and help with exhaust flow! Gains are in the 2 to 3 HP range, but it really adds to brakes heat soaking and fade.
That exhaust looks so incredibly cheap, it is sad!
I dig the angled exhaust, I actually want to do that to my sky. Unfortunately, there isn't a nice valance for it, everybody is going with the dual rear exhausts. The wing can go, I like the stock wing I have, but I've always loved the look of an angled single exhaust, and I think the Sky would look nice with one.... just needs the right valance though.
Assuming it can go out the right side instead of the left, you may want to look into the NA Sky (single exhaust) valance if that's something you really want to do.

yea i saw this vid on youtube unfortunately.. that wing in now way is gonna create the proper downforce on our car.. it would HAVE to be wind tested and i can almost guarantee that its slowing him down on the highway
I watched some of the other videos from Endi's link...
and well, Daddy Likes!

The only problem is that it's a square outlet. I was thinking about a single Solstice exhaust that norm could probably fab up, it just needs to add the reverse light in the center. I like the canister style exhaust with a resonator, they always sound smooth to me. I've heard Lancer Evolutions with that type of setup, and they have the smoothest and deepest hum of any 4 cylinder turbo I've ever heard. I find the sound superior to what I've heard from RPi or Solo. I feel that these exhausts are too raspy for me. In order to run a good 3" canister exhaust in these cars, they need to be angled because of the short rear overhang, so it isn't a gimmick in our application (this is assuming single 3" back exhaust and wanting good sound dampening).

Um stock exhaust is 2.5". There's plenty of space for a 3 inch pipe
