RL exhaust on Sky

Question - Will a RL exhaust fit and work on a non-RL Sky? Any issues when installing the duel exhaust?

It will work on the 2.4 roadster, but you need to also get the rear fascia to accomodate both exhausts.

RL Exhaust on Sky

It installs perfectly. You need the RL rear valance and the single piece RL exhaust. It took me 1 hour to do the swap and I am very happy with it. It definitely gave it more snap and a throaty sound.

You can cut out the other side instead of spending big bucks on buying a rear facia with two holes...Skip...

Skip, I have a question if you cut out the other side it wouldn't match exactly will it, I notice the factory opening folds inward.....so I think a new fascia would be needed for a finished look. Does anyone know how much a new fascia is(dual), and were I could get one?

Order new one from Saturn at 250.00 dollars. And as to folded in who is going to get down on their hands and knees and notice? Another thing is to make the uncut side equal the cut side...More than one way to skin a cat....Skip...I am money poor and love to save money when I can...

If you really want to put duel exhausts on your Sky then go ahead but I do not think it adds any tremendous amount of horsepower just more noise. And in case you are so inclined just trying to save you some money. It is the same way with these CAI's it is hardly worth 250.00 dollars to add a couple of horses. I do not spend money like water. It makes no sense or cents....Skip...

Check out that in the for sale section. It's a pretty good deal if you plan to drive to Cali. Buy the rear fascia and get the RL exhaust installed for $250.

If you can afford it and "want" it go for it, it looks hot.

BABY was the first 2.4L SKY ever fitted with a Dual Exhaust. The folks at Borla just cut the hole in the existing fascia and it turned out great. (Free, too!) It is really un-noticeable even if you know it is there, and the structure of the surrounding areas is reinforced so you really don't need the extra bend in the plastic. I thought that I would order a Red Line rear fasciawhen they became available, but after seeing the results of the cut hole I realized there was very little reason at all to do so. Here are some photos...
