WOOOOO WHOOOO! My parents have a Vaca house in Maggie Valley, NC and I would spend my Summers up there and go over to Cherokee a lot for fun. Do you have plans while you are there? My parents just got back.

There is a Casino you can gamble a little at now. Oh have you been to Santa's Land? That is there love it!!!! Also, Ghost Town In The Sky just reopened in Maggie a few weeks ago!!! OH OH make sure you get some great Cherokee fudge!!!! If you can go down to Maggie check out Joey's Pancake house! The "Dish Barn" is always fun. If you golf the MVCC has a very pretty course.

But most of all HAVE FUN, RELAX AND BE SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish you all the best!!!

Joey's Pancake House is DA BOMB!!! Had the absolute BEST banana/pecan pancakes I've ever eaten in my life at Joey's. Another great place if you like good old-fashioned southern style Banana Pudding...make a stop at Granny's Chicken Palace just east of Maggie Valley on Hwy 19 about a block east of 276...it's worth a stop.

Since you're in Toms Brook you shouldn't miss Skyline Drive. Whip over to Front Royal and take it from mile 0. It connects to the Blue Ridge Parkway at Waynesboro. 105 miles of Gods gift to Virginians.

I marked the date on my calendar. Might get the old girlfriend out for a drive. We've been dating for 47 years through two marriages each and she loves Skyline Drive.
