RPM at 60mph

Can anyone tell me what RPM a Redline Turbo is turning at 60mph in 5th gear. I have driven a non-turbo and it is a relaxed ride, somewhere around 2400 rpm. This is not like past maita's I have driven that are screaming at 3200 rpm. Hard to talk over the motor!

I was wondering if the gearing and smaller motor (2.0) of the turbo have changed this. I know the turbo has massive amounts of power but the engineers may want to keep the rpm's (and boost) up for highway driving.

Thanks

The final drive reatio IS numerically lower, therefore rpm at 60 mph is lower. Haven't noticed exactly what it is, but it is (as you say) relaxed.

We're talking a very small difference here. The final drive on the NA is a 3.90 and the Redline/GXP is a 3.73 if I remember correctly.

If 60 mph is 2400 rpm in the NA, it would be about 2300 rpm in the Redline/GXP.
