I found a picture of the Ruby Red Sky, so now I am in a jam. I don't know if I like this one better or the Black Onyx.....hmmmm.

Got a question for the members in the know...weren't they supposed to get rid of the silver around the windshield for the 2009s?

Hey Mike from what I remember at MECCAII they said just the Solstice coupes would have the color match around the windshield. The roadsters are to say silver.

i've seen the color in person, just not on a sky yet, its nothing special, black onyx is the way to go

Like everything else regarding this or any other vehicle, colors and options are more of a personal flavor & (costs) issue. In choosing a color, there is NO wrong choice. I however would prefer to see the car in that color in person, and the new blue also. Altho MM & others seem to have been consumed by this new color. I myself did buy the midniteblue site unseen, but it was a no brainer for us because it was what my wife wanted..

It's always a good idea to keep mama happy..

This color has been available on other Saturns for a while...while it isn't bad by any means, I still would have chosen the Chili Pepper myself.

No matter what anyone thinks..you are the one that needs to be the final judge of which color you prefer. For me I was looking at either the Polar White or Black..but I already have a Polar White Chevrolet Equinox..so I was almost certainly going to go with black..but as soon as I saw the Ruby Red being available for 09's...there was no more doubt in my mind...Ruby Red is it for me

..it really just looks like a rich and classy color on the Sky (although I don't really care for it on other vehicles at times)

And just a side note, Mike @ Saturn Marketing had posted the same pic on ImSaturn. It's a photoshop version of the Midnight Blue press photos with the Ruby Red tint applied.

I'd be pretty hacked off if I ordered one based on that image only to find out now that it was forged.

That is why you should always look at in person.. as I stated above.. unless you don't care, like when we ordered the midniteblues, and were more than Happy it was better than photos or that card with colors they give ya..

When I ordered mine last June there wasn't one to see within 1000 miles, at least in the color I ordered. To date on this site there are only six or so with the interior/exterior I ordered and zero that are an exact match. So yes, I agree, Caveat Emptor, and I still think GM should have indicated that the color on that image was a Photoshop hack, not an actual photograph.

Especially since I don't think it's a particularly accurate one based on all the time I spent drooling on it. I guess we'll know for sure soon enough!

Well, it turns out allegedly was the key word. They have it on order, but aren't sure when it will arrive. Oh, well!

Well Mike had stated they hadn't built the cars for press photos yet when he told me that about the picture so I'm sure they will be around soon, hopefully.

So now its a race to see who can find a built one and take pics of it first!
