Ruby Red Sky Pics

Hi Folks,

I was able to see and take a few pics this am of a 2009 Ruby Red Sky RL It was under a canopy/overhang type deal..so the pictures aren't the best because of the shadows..but hopefully it will give you at least somewhat of an idea as to the way this car looks..to me it is my color of choice and I think it is Swwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeet!!

All I saw was the dreaded red x

but I did get to the pic and hopefully these will show up.

It is sweeter looking in person!!!..Thank god they didn't put that dumb stripe down the hood and back..

Right after I posted them I saw the dreaded red x too! They are actually posted on a Kodak Server for EasyShare that I use for pictures for family and friends. (I swear I won't bother anyone here with any of our vacation pics!

I think what happened is the server went offline for a few seconds..causing the Red X before...but what the heck do I know!

Oh I couln't agree more

..the quality and coloring of the pictures is really not a true representative of how it looks in person..the ones that come the closest are the last two where there is more shade..but even those are not an exact representation either.

Hi Steve,

I forget exactly..but base price was about $31,000..had $1.500 in options (Monsoon, Chrome Wheels, and one other thing that escapes me now) Total of about $32,500 for that particular one.

Ok, thanks for the info, so i guess when you add the TAX

I edited and updated the links to pictures in my original post..for some reason the url to my photo sharing server..continued to show red x rather than the pictures..so I uploaded as attachments instead..I apologize for the red x situation!

Thats really nice! say is the 2009 Brochure out yet? id like to get it... ive got a bit of a collection going. ive got one from every year since 2005.

Hi Saber,

Hopefully soon but I don't believe quite yet. I was back at my dealer today hoping to clear up some questions regarding the new for 2009 Ruby Red Special Edition (which are still unsettled like the new wheels, stripping, interior coloring, among others.) They have no 2009 literature yet on any Saturn Model. I actually have more success getting information from this forum! The Saturn Web Site doesn't yet show any information on the 09's yet either..it must be coming soon though I would think.

Where are these pictures taken? I've been all around NC and all the dealers tell me that "no dealer in the US has them". I've been waiting a while and holding out to buy the 09 ruby and I'm getting impatient! These dealers seem to be somewhat incompetent. Thanks for any info. Can't wait to be like you guys in the Sky

I was at Saturn of Norwood last night getting my Ion serviced and they had one sitting right in front. I will upload my pics in the next couple of days.

I finally got to see what all of you have been raving about. Looks really

but funny thing was some of the sales staff weren't too sure about it. I was like "are you crazy"?

My salesman called yesterday. Our dealer in central Ohio has one. It's a loaded Redline but.....automatic trans.

Well, that color doesn't do anything for me...no way I'd consider trading in my midnight blue on that burgundy color...that color is like the red, not high on my list of favorite colors, because the tail light lenses don't contrast enough...but to each his own...

The only thing that you can be sure of, is that the dealers know less about what is going on than this forum does...
