Is Saturn going away?

I've been seeing a lot of news in the last couple weeks about GM selling Saturn to a foreign company. I think it's obvious that this would doom the Sky unless this competitor was willing to continue sourcing it from GM. I'm curious what anyone else has heard and what thoughts you might have.

Show me the money

In these tough economic times, GM will need to make some tough decisions.
If they are to survive, they must sell cars that make money. As much as we like our Sky's and Solstices, are they making any money for GM? I suspect they are not doing that well...
If they kill the Kappa, they could shut down a whole plant.

The models are already slated to move from Wilmington, DE to Bowling Green, KY (where the Corvette and Cadillac XLR are built) in a couple years. Per the contract that stipulates what GM can and cannot do relative to factory closures, there is no planned use for the Wilmington plant after that move.

So the factory where they are currently built is already planned to go idle. The question is whether the next gen Kappas will be built as currently planned in Bowling Green.
