Well, sorry to hear your thinking of leaving us, HOWEVER, I would suggest you do your homework first if its the Jetta you want. What year are you thinking of buying is my first question?. Next I recommend you surf the net to find out "what kind of problems" those cars have been having, since you think our cars are having problems & issues. Also, altho they are cheap to buy, they are expensive as hell to maintain (so I have read in only a few minutes of surfing). Find out how many problems they have been having.

Finally like any other car you buy, you get good ones and bad ones. How has your Sky treated you? Has YOURS given you any problems at all?

Mine for example has NOT had one mechanical failure, not one, that I could not drive it to the dealer and give my suspicious. My only issues were "minor" comparatively, noisy A/C if the only one I recall & they had a mod/fix for that. So just beware, you just might have one of the "good ones", then buy something new, and you could be buying a foreign lemon.. BTW parts cost an arm & leg as it is, German parts.. Need I say more??

I have to say that my Sky is a great car w/ no probs - it gets great gas mileage, is loads of fun to drive, and it's gorgeous.
Now you have read that some think it is a great car & you have read that some think it is garbage.
None of that matters.
All that matters is what you think.

My Sky has been in the shop over 20+ times....just recently for a bad water pump. I have a deposit down on the new Mini Cooper conv. coming out in Feb/March...I don't want to wait to see what happens when my warranty runs out. But, the Sky is the best looking car out there.
