Seat Belt Pads

My buddy Skip turned me onto these, and I really like 'em. The problem arose because I wear a uniform from time to time, and I found that my left collar was dirty when I arrived at my destination. It turns out that the seatbelt was leaving some grime (don't know if there is some sort of lubricant in the retracto mechanism or what the problem is.) Mrs. JohnD suggested that I get some of them there seatbelt pad dowackys. So I took Skip's recommendation from Saturn Motorsports and ordered these. They look really sharp! They were pretty cheap, and they are nice and comfy, too.

The only thing is, you need to carefully place your seatbelt tab on the seat before closing the door, or you can get a munchy sound.

Ouch!

I think they look great but I wish they said Redline or Sky instead of the more generic Saturn.

With the SKY and [-] emblem stitched on the seats, that might be overkill. I kinda like having a "SATURN" and logo there...

Just me, tho...

I too need to use seat belt pads. In another thread I talked about my sheep skin seat covers. When I had them installed, they GAVE me matching seat belt pads. I love this car!!!

I don't know. I think I agree with ineedmorebotox. I would only get them if the came with Redline on them. I personally wouldn't want the Saturn or SKY on them. It would be nice to have an option.

You can get plain ones just about anywhere... That's an option.

And, if you start with plain ones, you could take them to an embroiderer and put whatever you want on them...

Unlimited possibilities!
