It's a winner...I like the look and will definitel consider getting a hard top...but first I have to see it...but it works well on the Solstice. I looked it up on the internet..it is manufactured in Tarentum, Pa., wherever that is..

Tonneau Cover

I have been looking for a tonneau cover that you nmay use while driving, zipper in the center to allow for driver when not having a passanger.
Short of having one made has anyone seen this for a Sky?

Yep. GM used to offer one. It's kind of clunky, but it works exactly as you describe. I have a brand new one, in the box, never used never installed in the garage. If you can't get one from GM I would probably be willing to part with mine.

Here are some write-ups I did on it.

HEY! You're in Seal Beach?! Why don't you come on down on Saturday and play with us? I'd love to answer any questions you have on the cover in person!

This is our plan for the day:

Personally I would much rather have the Edag Hardtop since it changes the look of the car so much. It's kind of like having a whole other car for 2 grand! Yeah yeah, you hate it, you love it, this or that should change... to each his own!

Now if they would just put it into production it would be great, called 'em today but no answer and I know Matt is off of that project.

They need to make a top that leaves the humps showing. WHat is with covering the damn humps!!

This top is cool if the back just came down straight just like the soft top and they had hard butresses ......... it would work.

the one at the top makes what trunk there is useless and if I would have wanted a Honda Civic I would have bought one.
What the H is so hard about sticking to the cars existing style?

I would have to agree with xMicro_Redline and was also saying to myself that the top would look much better without contouring over the rear humps. I personally think it looks a bit better than the Edag one (which in my opinion makes the car look like a station wagon) but needs to get rid of the hump hugging. Maybe it's just necessary to do this in order to get it to fit, but does it really need to cover over 50% of the humps.

I agree the top should look like the soft top not like a grocery getter station wagon

I would NEVER put a hard top on my SKY.

Except maybe on that looked like this... The lines are so right with a style that perfectly compliments the creases of the SKY.

I would have to agree about the fakeness simply because the decklid is custom to keep the lines of the top in the photo, however the "ButtHoles" (thanks for the line Skip!) where the cloth top snaps into are still on the custom trunk, I don't think they would have kept them. Just an opinion.

And, actually, if you think about those lines... The driver's head (at least a tall one) would effectively be in a "cone"... Could not see the passenger's head. Would bang aound from side to side, too. Not good. Just picture what that would look like from the inside. Hence, "eww."
