stubby antenna

Does anyone have any photos of their stubbies, and comments about them. There seem to be hundreds of designs out there but no photos of them on the Sky. Confusing... Wondering if they hinder the reception of the radio, really enhance the looks, or are difficult to change out, I hate to purchase and then be disappointed. Thanks, any help would be much appreciated, Puggs

Well, my camera's broke and it's raining. I'll get a pic when I can.

I have a carccessory stuby A: http://www.carccessory.com/images/ph...Antenna_/A.gif

I haven't noticed a reception difference, but I'm sure the gain is reduced, especially for AM. OK in city. Probably notice more on highway inbetween towers. I listen to CD mostly, so don't care.

I mainly got it so I wouldn't need to poke hole in my car cover.

Very simply install. Unscrew existing. Screw on stubby.

I have a stubby that I'm getting rid of - reception is not very good...

An Opel antenna is on it's way for me now!

ps - if you do want a stubby, check this link out if you are looking at vendors...

I also got mine from carccessory. Looks great, and I only listen to XM, so reception is not an issue.

I don't use an antenna on mine, listen to CDs, MP player and XM, so I placed a tire air cap over the screw, matches the car(black and silver) and is smaller than a stubby and looks better.

Bought mine at Wally World for about $15. It does the job and gets good reception. Here is a pic of it.
