Taillight Light designs...

I was wondering, about a month ago I seen this .. other brand car and the taillights were a design.... meaning the lights in it actually was a picture.... Is this possible to do with our Skys? One of the lights was an outline of a skull and the other one said RAD ..... they were all red bulbs.. but I thought it was really neat and just wondered.... Thanks SkyBaby

Driving on the west side of Rockford Illinois... it wasnt a spot to actually STOP.. and try to ask questions.... that isnt a great part of town.. but... alot of the folks who live in this area are really into doing GREAT mods on their cars.... once in a while I drive down around there just to see.... at any rate... I thought it was really cool and would love to do this.. if anyone knows how to do this or if someone knows someone. SkyBaby

There are lots of tail light "covers" made in designs for a number of vehicles - but I have never seen any for the Sky or Solstice.

I did see an Acura some time back that had a a dragon design done in a lightly smoked tint on thier tail lights.
When I looked very closely - I realized that it was a very well done vinyl overlay.
I have seen several vehicles w/ various overlays since then & most of them are done very well.

I never asked where they got them but I am sure that if you search around you might be able to find an outfit that will do them.

I have seen some really nice etched covers too.... but... this looked more like leds for brake lights made into a design.... I have to go out that way next monday.. I will see if I can see that car again SkyBaby
