Tampa Bay Roadsters Meet and Greet

We have decided to have a "Meet and Greet" for anyone interested on Sunday, April 20th at 2:00pm. We have not yet decided on a place, however we would like to find somewhere between Tampa and Spring Hill to do this. For all of you that are interested we are giving you a chance for input on where to meet. If not I will make a decision friday evening and hope that everyone goes along. We all have to remember that most of us have never met before and we don't want to offend by choice of places or anything like that (we can do that after we know each other).
So please if ypou have any ideas, whether it be Land O' Lakes,Wesley Chapel, NPR, Port Richey, Tarpon Springs, etc. please let me know so that we can do this. Also, anyone that would like to do so, please pm me with your email so that we have a current list of contacts for the club.

Alright, I have not heard anything from anyone about where they want this held, so as to try and accomodate those that might be coming from different areas the meeting will be held at Smoky Bones Bar B Que right across the street from Citrus Park Mall. The actual address is 8020 Citrus Park drive. They have no call aheads but assure me that the wait even for a large group should be no more then 30 minutes.
Let's try to get as many cars and people together for this so that we can meet and to figure out where we are heading with this club. I look forward to meeting you all.

First off, there were 5 of us that got together. Dennis, thanks for coming, wish you could have stayed longer, but we all understand work schedules (none of us hit the lottery last night). Barry, Jeff, Nick and I along with my and Barry's wife sat and discussed the club, our Skys, Jeff's Solstice, and a host of other things before deciding on our path that we will follow.
As it stands now we are going to continue to be a loose confederation of owners, no applications, no dues, no bylaws. We will just get together as often as we possibly can, (appoximately once every month to six weeks) in order to take a run, eat a meal and enjoy one anothers company.
We have scheduled our next run for June 1st, meeting at International Mall in Tampa and then running across the causeway for a "Best of Pinellas Run". We have a tentative start time of 9:30am, subject to change, though not by much. I am going to start a new thread for this run soon and of course everyone is invited.
I am glad to see that we can finally start to put this together and that we have a good core group with the same ideas and goals in mind. We encourage you to join and be a part of Tampa Bay Roadsters. We're sure you will enjoy your time with us.

We had a nice time enjoying each others company...Go figure...total strangers w/a common passion....our unique cars. At the end of lunch it was like we had been friends for a long time and you know....you can't have to many friends. I am looking forward to making this our first and special run very enjoyable. I have the support of our local dealer (Saturn Of Port Richey ) and we will be organizing a special time for us all. For those of us who have had our cars a while will be able to discuss those never asked questions, swap mod ideas and learn from each other we will also have a Saturn employee amongst us for added support. So spread the word everyone in the Tampa Bay Area....We have a new club...The Tampa Bay Roadsters!
