And There Was Much Rejoicing!

My Sky was run over by the roach coach on October 24, 2007. We were apart for 87 days, 2 hours, and 10 minutes.

During that time:
  • We celebrated Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
  • I had a Birthday.
  • Louisiana elected and installed an Indian American governor.
  • My company bought four others.
  • Robert Goulet, Norman Mailer, Roger Smith, Ike Turner, Benazhir Bhutto, Sam the butcher, Sir Edmund Hillary, Bobby Fischer, and my friend Brian died.
  • I went on vacations to Las Vegas and Peru.
  • Broadway stagehands and TV writers went on strike,
  • The people involved in the broadway strike got their acts together and reached a compromise.
  • I made $1,725 in car and insurance payments.
  • We got a new Attorney General.
Lots of other stuff probably happened too, but I've grown bored with Wikipedia.

When I called to sing happy birthday to Skip this morning, he asked me to take some more pics at the old mental hospital if I got the car back today. Never one to disappoint a birthday boy (or anyone who probably lives within 2 miles of a 24-hour gun store), I instantly agreed!

It is my great pleasure to present my car, all healed up and looking purdy. Yaay!

I've never tried picking up at the crazy house. Had a couple I probably should've dropped off there, though!

I know, but nothing has come to me.

I don't want to just give it a name plucked out of thin air- there has to be a story behind it. Especially since I'd like it to have a more interesting name than Geraldine!

First off a congrats are in order for getting the Sky back. Second the composition of the Sky versus the old buildings brings out the dark grey of the Sky. Dang them r sum purdy pictures....Third yes you need to name your Sky. I say name it Roach. Not for smoking weed Reed. Not cause it looks trashed cause it tant. But in honor of the roach coach that hit you that day.....Skip...

Good idea, and I'd be all for it if it were someone else's car, but I won't be driving a car named Roach. I did consider Orkin earlier today, though!

Do I get a vote on the name?!? If so, I say name it Raid! Reed's Raid!

Plus it kills Roaches...and Ants if they become a problem too!!

Meh. False advertising- the roaches almost killed the car.
