Things that have happened on the forum the past year

I thought that if we reminded ourselves of what happened on this forum in the past year that we might not repeat our mistakes. I know, like that is going to happen. But back to this thread, only something that has happened to the forum overall. Not that you got your Sky, PLEASE. Something that happened on the forum...Skip....

In the past year we had trolls. We had SKYBABY post till dawn and now does not post as much. We had the ordeal of SKYEPILOT. We started seeing some clubs form. Come on help me out here. ...Skip...

In the past year, Tim (Skyman 07) wife died and the forum mourned. Marlboro Mike learned what the color BLUESTONE looked like and he in his soul will put up with the color. The girls partied with the SKIPSKY. And here is an old one, I WANT MY SKY NOW stopped posting....Skip...

In the past year I have yet to meet a member of this forum, but that will change this year with the Route 66 Run and the National Kappa meet in Nashville.

In the past year the Forum grew massively, and gained recognition by Saturn and the Wilmington Plant, an example being Spag's floor leak.

I finally learned how to " GRIN " and of course learned how to manage my mid-life crisis. This site ( and my Med's ) made 2002 much more tolerable

IN THIS PAST YEAR i HAVE JOINED THE FORUM AND LEARNED THAT I WILL TRADE IN MY MIATA AND GET A CHILLI PEPPER RED SKY REDLINE,

I learned more about sky performance and talked with lots of great people who answered all of my questions and a few members who suggested a great dealrship (through pm of coarse) that helped me order my redline

We met USMC, Cjegg and his bride as well as Skyhope and her best friend (Husband). Found out that we could drive from the San Juaquin valley to the top of the Sierras at 8000 ft and then to S. L Tahoe and eventually to the ocean at Dillon beach by Tomales Ca all in a single day!
Met a world of great people all of whom proved that the heart of America beats strong within this forum.

We found out Skip's dogs aren't real

Found out the wait

is a little more tolerable when you aren't going thru it alone

Found several "guardian angels"

like Deluke that go out of their way to help others.

This forum has provided way more information than I would have ever dreamed possible to receive.

I have to tell ya...........I started looking at these cars just two months ago....In that short time I have learned soooooooo much from just reading and interacting with so many great people that (this part is really true) I actually help my sales person sell two of these vehicles when I was there (different times). I was helping her answer questions for perspective buyers that she couldn't answer.

I talked the car up and provided general info about the car that I learned here. (oh boy I hope you guys weren't lying to me

) I would have had no clue about this vehicle without this forum.

So I guess the biggest thing that has happend here in the past year...........people got an education!!!
