Three Antennas - Side-by-Side
I received my Opel GT antenna so that I could compare it to the stock and "B-Series" that I currently run with. I took pictures of all three side-by-side.
In general, I am pleased with the Stubby "B." I think it looks great, and since I am normally listening to an MP3 disk or XM my need for good reception is minimal. If I want to catch the Angels ballgame or listen to AM Talk Radio the reception is good enough from those blowtorch stations even with the antenna fully retracted. I never have the antenna up, so I have never had the issue of it getting caught in the top. For me, the Opel GT antenna is great to keep tossed in the trunk; if I ever want to get better radio reception I could always easily install it. But I will keep the B-Series stubby as my daily unit since it is even more out-of-the-way (when retracted) than the shorter Opel antenna. Anyway, here are pics of the three antennas - stock, Opel GT and Carcessory B-Series for comparison. The first picture shows the Opel antenna in its packaging. Next we have all three of the antennas laid out side-by-side so you can compare lengths of the stock, Opel GT and Carcessory. Next are two photos zoomed in to the length of the Opel antenna (more or less) that compare the lengths between this one and the B-Series extended and retracted. Finally, a picture of the B-Series installed on SPIRIT.

As I was pulling on the car cover to put SPIRIT to bed for the night, I realized why I love the Stubby B-Series most of all: I can install the cover with no hassles while leaving the antenna in place. I could not do this with the stock or Opel GT antennas. So I got the camera out and snapped some pictures of the cover over my accessories...
This cover is installed with the top DOWN, and a KappaSphere SkyShield and Carcessory B-Series antenna (retracted) in place. The cover fits fine over these goodies.

I have the B-series as well. So far, everyone who has seen it compliments on how much cleaner and sporty the car looks. The reception around Phoenix is pretty dang good as well!
