The Ups and Downs of the Forum Dynamic

I thought that we, being the forum, need to realize that anybody, and everybody reads these threads. Therefore, I ask my forum members to post what they will and just remember that a 7 year old can read what is posted. Anything that you yourself would not want your youngins to read goes into the FRONTIER. Sometimes in the dynamics of this forum we all step on somebodys toes. We should not take great offense at this but chalk it up to the forum ups amd downs. There is a feature called the ignore button and I myself have not used it since I have been posting. I just let most of the caustic remarks roll off my back like water on a ducks back. R Sky Rox, I wish to ask you not to leave this forum but make an effort to let the water roll off the back. The same goes for Skybaby. Yall have been on this forum long enough to know when to use the ignore feature. Or to just disregard what is said. This forum is as a big family of like minded people who all have a passion for a Sky. All I ask is that everybody show a little more constraint on the sticking of ones foot in the mouth. Just remember that everybody has problems with everybody but we all still have to get along....Skip...I hope that I be talking right to yall about the forum dynamics and knowed what I said....input is to be desired. And as my dad used to say EACH MAN TO HIS OWN TASTE SAID THE FARMER WHEN HE KISSED THE COW

Sounds good to me. Let's not let THIS thread be a debate and please do not bring in old (or new) arguments. Let this thread be one of peace and harmony...

...else I'll beat you with a dead tuna!

Whoa, high note...I'm outta here!

I see that since I have been in Canada I missed whatever dynamic happened here on the forum.
Most times it is Skippadoodle that go's to the store for groceries and comes back to a mess.
I agree with his statement, that we are all different, we see things in different ways, we express ourselves in different ways as well. That is what makes this a very interesting forum. Yes sometimes it go's over the top and people get angry, usually I try not to respond to those or at least try to be neutral.
BUT, going away mad is never the way to work things out, we all know that.
Lets continue to be a forum family, enjoy our cars and enjoy the cruz weekends and meeting new people.

Don't leave...

As being one that has almost left a few times because of a few misunderstandings , you have to be willing to forgive and forget..
This forum is sort of like a marriage.. you are not going to like everything that goes on, but if you are willing to work at it you can come to some sort of compromise....

Mary, not stupid, just not in the know. Go to forums. the frontier is down at the bottom. There is a password given. This will take you to the frontier. This is a "no holes barred" area for topics of discussion not appropriate or too controversial for the general forum.

I agree with da skipper verbatim. I tried to referee those threads fiasco's, guess I didn't do to well & failed miserably--

As for MRSSKY's question, NO-WAY, am I gonna call you stupid-- uh-uh no-way, no-how, we already have to many of our female members pissed, upset, left or leaving this forum...
HOWEVER, if you hit the "Forums" tab on the bar above left, that shows all the different forums, as you scroll down down down, just below the "Off Topics", below that is our Wonderful "Frontier" Section. I suggest that only those with "thick skins", AND can give it and take it go in thar--If your squeamish, I suggest you stay outa there, it does get hairy on occasions, definitely does get personal at times, sex, politics and religion IS discussed (the BIG 3 TABOO subjects)--
Password is: " xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx " as in HEY YOU ARE "ENTERING-AT-YOUR-OWN-PERSONAL-RISK" . So just be aware, that it does get vulgar, very much so, at times.

Thats where many "unpleasant" subjects should be aired, AND for that matter, not out here in the open forum "where children can see the war"-- I will say this, any "child" thats INTERNET savie, will have NO PROBLEM entering the Frontier, at least they added a second layer to get in thar--

Uh, do you think it is a good idea to post the password to that topic on the open forum where the 7 year olds can get in now? i think that password should never be shared in an open forum and only given out in a PM to someone requesting it.

Yup, but it has been posted already many many times before, however, I editted it, then re-editted, some more, ok now?

THANKS, just thought it was strange to post a password for a restricted topic in the open forum where anyone could get to it then... It might as well not have had a password then.
Ya'll Have Fun In There....

For the record, you have to be 13 years old to register on this forum. And when is the last time you heard of a 13 year old or a 7 year old for that matter, being able to afford a SKY? Unless of course it was plastic and came from Wally World.

Lighten up people! Most 13 year olds have seen racier stuff on their cable TV's at home. AND just like cable TV, if you don't like the channel, or in our case the topic, then turn it off or change to something else.

SO, if there are any 7 year olds reading this, it's because Mommy and Daddy are letting them. The control starts at home.

Again, this thread is not for debates or to bring up old/new arguments. Just keep Skip's comments in mind when posting.

Ok, now what did I do with that tuna...?

I don't know what is in that section and i don't care, if it is supposed to be a restricted area you should not post the password on the open forum is all I was getting at... If you do that, then why have it restricted at all? why have a password. Posting it on here defeats the purpose.. DUH think about it...

P.S.
About the 7 year olds, I was just re-enforcing what Skip said earlier..that is all
