Hmm. Interesting. Well, for those forum members impacted and displaced by the SoCal fires, especially you folks MIA down south, , here's hoping for the best for you. Check in as you can. We seem to be missing a few folks around here. I need a day or so to catch up, so folks waiting on me for stuff, I'll get to it shortly.

It seems like the only ups and downs on this thread are the people going for drinks of their favorite and the others eating non existing food on top of the keyboard. I hope that we can get back on track to whatever the subject was way back when....Skip....

It is alright to take time out in the course of human events to drink, eat, and be merry. Now to get back on track. I hate for anybody to leave the forum because of ill will towards them . I would rather that they just left without announcing. One that I know of that has not been on in a long time is Maverick. I have not seen him post in so long. It always comes down I guess into the part of what do you get out of the forum versus what you put into it. I myself love to converse and that is my downfall. A lot of times I open mouth and insert foot and then I can't remove the dang thing. On this forum I choose to post when ever I can, either make light of something and diffuse anger or when I know that I have an answer to a problem and actually help someone. But when someone is spiteful and mean I love to get into the thick of it and yes I can be the same back. It goes against my nature because I was brought up not to be that way. I brought up my youngins that way too. Now they are on their own and yes I see myself in their eyes and in their actions. I just hope after I am dead and gone that it will continue. I will be forgotten two months after I die but such is life. But in my youngins eyes I will live on....Skip....

I agree with you there on the leaving without announcing. That's why this kind of thing isn't fun anymore. It's like Bogie said... those announcing a departure want a warm and fuzzy feeling from the rest of us to feel good about something. And I'm certainly more than warm and fuzzy and there are times when I need a warm and fuzzy feeling. Not often, but it happens. We all have stuff that goes on in our lives on and off the forum where we need some good vibes our direction. Even I got some potentially crappy news this week. Won't know anything for another 2 months so no reason to share anything at this time. Besides...I'll be fine cause I'm lucky that way and I always am fine! Woo Hoo!!!

Skipster...you're fantastic! We'll remember you more than 2 months after your gone! And we'll think of our Resident Redneck fondly I'm sure!
