Used Sky Price

I took my wife's Toyota in for its regular service today. While waiting for her car to be serviced, I walked out front to look at the new cars in the showroom and outside. There was a silver graphite Sky out front. Of course a salesman was there to see if I needed any help so I asked him about the Sky. He said they took it in on trade. 6,000 miles, leather seats, spoiler and I'm not sure what else. He said they were asking $32,000. I didn't see a gun but, it's still robbery. That's about $5,500 more than I gave for my Sky. But, I don't have a spoiler.

why would anyone trade a Sky in for a Toyota. They don't come much uglier than that.

Their little convertible is KINDA cool, but it wont impress many people with its 13-inch rims.

that, and they don't make it anymore. i actually like the MR2 Spyder a lot, but it was way overpriced.

I would not be surprised if they bought the SKY at an auction and parked it on the lot just to get people to come in and look at it. They want it expensive so it stays there. People see it, go "Oooh!" and "Aaaah!" See the price tag, and then the salesman is right there to say "We've had this nice little Solara on the lot for the past three months. I can get you into that for some really affordable payments..."

People won't come to the lot to look at a Solara...

Let me guess GM is now getting so good at producing halo cars, they can even draw customers into competing dealerships, now that is impressive.
