Very Bad News about ROBERT [Robert passed away]

Robert is now in a coma...he is home and although I have never met this kid personally, I know most of you had some form of relationship with him. Personally, I was the one that introduced him to the SKY & SOLSTICE....I wanted something special for my car and my friend who has a Mercedes had one of his windscreens...well...the rest is history. I can truly say that the short time I have known this little big man, he is a true friend. I usually speak with him once a week only to touch base and see how his health is and talk about some of the members and their requests...As a businessman, I believe he was a failure because he was always trying to give a product above what the customer expected....as a human being, he belongs in the category "FINEST". I know I will miss him...all of us will.

By the way, Robert finally did get a Red SKY about 3 weeks ago...he loved it.

Ouch.

From your tone it sounds like "coma with little hope of recovery."

He's a tough kid and a fighter. I would not count him out yet...

Let's think positive on this one and see what prayer can do.

Sad news indeed. Although I went with a Kappa shield I've seen his work and it was truly first class.

I talked to him for about half an hour on Good Friday, and he was in pretty good spirits, but not doing too well. He told me he really loves his new Sky and about his plans for mods, and we talked for a bit about how happy he is that he was able to start a business and give something back to his family. It's really sad to see such a great guy have such terrible health problems.

So very sorry ...

I am so very sorry to read of "Robert's" failing health.
My purchase and dealing(s) with Robert were most pleasant. I had hoped he would awake to a miracle and recovery completely. My sincere prayers go out to him and his family.

I did speak with his girlfriend Beth...who has been with him a long time and she was in tears...I also called his grandfather who he lives with and told him how instrumental he was in making us feel just a bit better about our cars...and that this will be published in the forum which he so much tried to be a part of...

I can tell you that he is grateful and appreciates all of us who trusted and believed in ROBERT.

Praying for Robert and his family also, God is able. Although I never had any dealings with him, he seems to be above board and very customer oriented.

Wow, this is horrible. I talked with his sister last week when I ordered my brake light modulator. What a down to earth and pleasant person she was, but I can hear her heavy heart. Just my mentioning Robert made her choke up, so I knew it was not going well.

My sincerest wishes and prayers go out to him and his family and close friends.

I will say something a lot of us know and live by already, Nothing is any good without your health. Anyone can go at anytime. Ever since 9/11/01, I really live everyday like it is my last and try to never leave the house with unresolved issues. You never know, the only Garanttee in life is that it will end for each one of us.

It is not how you die, but rather how you lived.

I hope Robert is granted a miracle as we all pray for one. And if he passes, I pray that his family will know the peace he does in short time!

GOD BLESS ROBERT!

My prayers for Robert.................

I've never had the opportunity to meet Robert, but I have had the pleasure of speaking with him on the phone. Granted, it was business, but he was always the consummate gentleman, on the phone, and extremely helpful. I will continue to hope that God will give him the best.

Robert is a great guy and made an excellent product. He put the creative elements of light and art into what other vendors decided to make only plain vanilla wind screens. I too spoke to Robert several times on the phone while installing my windrestrictor. He was very helpful and had no hesitations over a weekend to speak with me about tips on the install. This would hardly be the case for most companies out there.

I hope WindRestrictor.com continues to operate in his name. I noticed several days ago while attempting to make a purchase that the product links seeem to be erroring out.

Like the others here I pray for you to remain with us Robert. The world needs innovative people like you.

Was just thinking about Robert the other day and sent a PM to him, but never got an answer. Guess this is why. Such a nice young man and so full of dreams, let's all continue to pray for him and his family.
