VIS Carbon Fiber Hood

VIS racing just released the full carbon fiber oem hood for the saturn sky. Its on sale now for $609 and normally sells for $900..

If anyone is interested im thinking we could try a group buy. I would think a nice email with a number of buyers interested might persuade Vis to offer a group discount.

ViS Grade A Carbon Fiber hoods are "Ultra UV Protected" which prevents them from fading for years. This extra coating helps to prevent discoloration that is common on lesser quality hoods. ViS is one of the only manufacturers that provide ultraviolet protection to keep your hood just as shiny and vibrant as the day you bought it.

All ViS carbon fiber parts are made of the highest grade carbon fiber available and have a tight weave, rolled edges, and a one piece underside skeleton to provide extra strength to your hood as well as to facilitate OEM accessory interoperability. Each hood is drilled and tapped so that you can simply swap over OEM accessories such as under hood lights or heat shielding. The stock hood latch receiver will also be able to be used with minimal adjustment. Most ViS parts are 50% lighter than their OEM counterparts.

I should be getting my VIS hood in tomorrow. IllStreet price is good because I bought mine at wholesale cost and I will tell you that their price is not that much higher from wholesale but the the shipping from Illstreet is jacking up the price but hey it must be shipped right? Lucky for me I am local and I'm able to drive down and pick it up.

I was just informed that some dumbass decided to try to market the Solstice VIS carbon fiber hood as a Sky hood thinking that it would fit. I told them that it would bolt on but would not fit due to the front headlight area being different. So there Isn't a VIS sky carbon fiber hood, just a solstice hood. I will be getting a refund instead of a VIS carbon hood.

i actually talked to vis they told me there was a hood for the sky... i would double check

Well try again buddy and if its true place an order for me. I taled also directly to them and also had my friend the owner of ground dynamics talk to the owner of VIS just to confirm and they all said it was a solstice hood.
