water temp

I just purchased my redline and have noticed the tempurture to range from 205 to as high as 216 is this normal? I have a 07 auto with 7,200 miles.

Indeed it's normal and with the heater on the temperature is higher than with the heater off. By about 10 degrees. Relax and enjoy the ride.

I have seen several reports of the higher temperature with the heater on, but have not experienced it myself, and can find nothing in the service manual that indicates it to be a design feature.

I wonder if the indicated temperature is different due to some different behavior, but the actual temperature is the same.
