What color is my Sky?
I began celebrating the 4th of July by washing my Sky. As I was drying her and wiping the inside of the doors I noticed a yellow sticker on the inside of the right front fender just in front of the door. It has a part #, supplier #, date and the color: "Lt Tarnish Silver". On the left fender the sticker is hand writen and says "Lt Silver. I thought I had a silver pearl car. Has anyone else noticed this? Not that it really matters.

My guess is that's the way the production people in the factory track things. GM uses fancy names to attract our attention and make the colors more desireable, the guys who put the car together only need to differentiate between " dark silver " and "light silver."

Have you seen the Solstice colors? They have wacky names like "Envy" and "Remorse" and "Plattitude"...
