Drove it to work yesterday for the first time in a coons age.
Ann left it almost empty so had to fill her up ($4.17/gal) and warsh (super $9.00).

Noticed the hood wasn't completely shut on the passenger side.
Is this because we usually garage with the hood up to keep the cat off?
Could it be that leaving the hood up all the time causes it to twist?
Anyone?

All that means is that you didn't close the hood properly
or
something was under the one side.

Mine does that too, or rather doesn't do that (close) on the same side. I actually have to push the hood (slam) shut to get the passenger side to close and latch (regardless of which side I close it from).

Tried that several years ago. It's more like the hood a out of shape just enough to keep the passenger side hook from going in all the way under normal drop-closing momentum.

Both our hoods close when suspended 28 inches and dropped. Slamming can cause the fender top seal to compress and allow the corner of the hood to contact the fender. I have seen many cars with the paint chipped off the corners of the hood.

Installed a DDM coil cover, driver side front corner doesn't sit flat so I need to pull it back off and mess around with it....

Backbone extreme also came in, that will go on next week.

While its not exactly on the sky, i finnally got a real garage door on the garage today. no more manually opening and closing the barn style doors!! Soon to seal it up for even more protection.
