What's wrong with the post counter?
Just checking to see if anyone knows why the 'post' counter doesn't work. For example, I posted 6 times yesterday, 1 time today: Yesterday started at 728 and now I am sitting at 730 posts.
I noticed this some time ago, that the # of posts recorded does not actually show how many posts you have actually had. Anyone else notice this?? ![]()

OK, a couple posts later. I see my count is @731 from this posting of this question. It should be 734... Does the posts only count for this part of the forum? For example, if you post in the "regional' area, the posts don't count?

If so certain sections on the forum do not count towards the overall post count because they are not deemed automotive in nature. -B

Certain posts do not count, for example, the Off topic section, the Frontier, I don't think the posts in the regionals don't count. The ones that counts are the thread that are in the car related sections... They changed that awhile back.. They use to count ALL posts, many moons ago,, they posted their reasons..

Got it. I just never really paid much attention to the count numbers until the other day when I noticed that I really didn't have too many posts- for the quantity I thought I was actually posting. It does appear that the only posts counting are on the general discussion area for me.
