I haven't got my Sky yet, but I've been thinking for a while now about a playlist - probably first cd in the player will my Bruce Springsteen mixed cd. Now much planned beyond that.

Nice playlist - and a broad spectrum I might add! Just don't mention the Carpenters.

Wow - we have something in common. We both have AC/DC, Foreigner, Kiss,
Styx, etc. on our lists. And John Denver! He has been one of my favorite artists since I was a little kid. Unfortunately, I only saw him once in concert before he died. [By comparison, I have seen Kiss in Columbus, Detroit, Little Rock, Tulsa, Amarillo, Oklahoma City, and Norman; Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Amarillo all happed in a four day span].

My musical tastes run pretty wide. A couple summers ago, I went to three concerts - Kiss, Toby Keith, and bond (a string quartet from England).

No, not a groupie, but I know a good show when I see it. Unless bond comes around and I can talk Haylie (first violin player - my word those hands are amazing) into it. Sky Wife said I could have a "celebrity get out of jail free" card if it ever came up. I'm not holding my breath.

I met Steven Tyler once. Back in college I was the night manager in a grocery store in Tulsa when Aerosmith played in town. He came trotting in during the wee hours with some other folks buying snackage.

Just plug the IPOD in and let it go. Several thousand songs in there, way too many to list. Some highlights ...

Hank Williams
Metallica
Fleetwood Mac
Joe Satriani
Aerosmith
Ministry
Alison Krauss
Rob Zombie
Led Zeppelin
Pink Floyd
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Thin Lizzy

... and on, and on.

According to ITunes, I could drive for 4+ days without hearing the same song.

Gotta give that a try sometime ...
