I know that there is a great company that makes only seat covers that starts with Kaz...... something something....

They have ones for the Sky which is closer to what you are looking for.

Hopefully someone here can help us out with the proper name..

You know, for a kid that does NOT OWN A SKY yet, you sure ask alot of useless questions--Regarding useless ITEMS & mods that are NOT needed on a perfectly designed Sky--How about you buy the thing--THEN ask these questions BECAUSE at the rate YOU are going, by the time you finish modding your Sky, it'll be a $100,000 Sky, and we ALL know, you DO NOT have the DOE!! to even BUY the R/L All these posts everyday for a kids dream Sky, that might NOT ever happen, is at the very least, ahh now becoming veeerryyy irrating--FLAME AWAY members if I am wrong--

I agree to a point with the comments about a lot of questions. First you have to get the car. What color will you get? Would you take (or will dad insist) that you get the perfectly nice Forest Green with the 2.4L sitting on the lot, or are you willing to wait to be #29 on the Red Line List at the dealership? Are you just assuming that if you go to the dealer on the 2nd that you'll have a car on the 3rd? That might not be the case. To get it exactly how you want it could take months. Many months. So maybe you will go for the more rapid gratification and take what they have available...

Whatever you get, it will be perfectly serviceable starter car. If that's not good enough for you, then you may elect to modify it to better suit your tastes. That is a fine process, and something that I have done to both of mine. But, in each case, I have carefully thought about it, visualized it, and taken my time to execute it.

I think the process to get SPIRIT exactly where I want it will take six months to a year. Part of the joy is going through the process of configuring it. For me, I think it will be more fun to craft it than it will be to own it when it is done. So I am taking my time. It's not about "now, now, now" it's about getting it "right, right, right." And I will make no modification until I am comfortable with it and I know that it will fit in perfectly with the ultimate vision of where I want to go with the car. In the mean time, it's a great car to drive around it, and I am not ashamed to show it off exactly as it is today - even though it is not yet exactly how I want it to be. Some day it will be, but I am in no great rush to get there.

Life is a journey, not a destination. I, for one, plan to enjoy the trip - not be obsessed with arriving at its end.

Just more useless advice for a young-un from an old f*rt.

i like that last line

...we already spoke to the sales department and they said it would take 2-4 months for the car to arrive...my dad is fine with that...me, not so much but at least i wont have to wait 8-12 months like some other members =]...im not getting everything im asking questions about...im just looking for prices, availability, quality, and looks...right now the only 2 things i am getting on my sky when it arrives is the lambo doors and the xenon lights...the rest i havent decided yet...and what you told me about making everything on the car flow made sense and made me change some of my decisions...and i thank you for that!

So he's excited...what's the big deal? If you don't like the questions, don't answer them. Midnight, sometimes I find your posts quite verbose but thats just you....it's ok to be who we are right?
