I still think the car looks the best with nothing on the tires, good looking rims, good looking car and a studd muffin driving it. You already have all that so what is wrong with the current perfectionism? can beat perfect so why try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big hugs to ya Cutie
Guess which answer I liked the best... ...and Bill (Willie52), nothing but nothing I can do with the whitewall tires can make the car as ugly as Ken's rim...NOTHING! I need Paul (XMicroRL) to put a pic of his car with the redwall tires...amazing. Just ask him. It crossed his mind.

Quick and dirty while we wait for XMicroRL to post his pics. They look a little like white walls painted red then run up against a curb a few times, but you get the idea.

I have resisted the urge to add bluestone-walls to MMike's car...

and it hasn't been easy...

BTW - going with the Pennywise the killer clown theme - this movie was soooooo bad that it cracked me up!

White walled tires, huh?? Hmmm, pretty spiffy, I like 'em! Then again, I'm old and like being old too! Maybe yellow though

Have you thought about redline tires? Not as in SKY Redline, but as in a red line around the tire instead of white? Give it a little bit of a sportier look, I think.

I'll post the redline pics next post...
Gave me a GREAT flashback to the 50's. They had 'add-on' whitewalls you could ADD to your tires.

Sorry I don't have any pics of my '48 Chevy. Miss my 'fender skirts' too. (And, no I did not have mud flaps too!). (Some did, and racoon tails were popular.)

Sorry guys, the wife's new doggie business has me busy in the sales/marketing department.

So Mike I see you stirred the pot again!

Here is the Redwall picture you asked for.

I am staying black, I do not want to add color, but I think it looks pretty cool!

Paul...u r the BEST! Although the yellow looks good because of the yellow amber lights...the right way to go is just whitewalls...the red wall tires on your car is just MAGIC...picks up that interior...and as stated before, it is eye candy.

The only reason red sort of works is it plays on the overall red/black color theme. It compliments the interior as well as calipers.
