Not when it comes to air bag sensors...I know for sure. Solstice is a 5 wire connector. Sky... 8 wire connector. And the connectors are different. You cannot attach the male to the female plug. Different configuration.
If the air bags are TAKATA, sounds like chances of them functioning is doubtful anyway. Just drive defensively and pray. Bottomline, we'll all go sometime, some way. Just have them dig a bigger hole and include the SKY!:lol:
It's possible the early run "2006.5/2007 MY" Sky's that do not have OnStar 7.0/voice-recognition could have a different passenger airbag sensor wiring/part. But I remain skeptical unless I saw the 2006 Solstice had a different airbag sensor part# too.
cannot answer that question...all I can tell you is that myself and Doug (sky dragon) could not put the connectors together...they were different. There is also the possibility that the sensor came from a different car and it was mislabeled...whatever it is...I was able to get another air bag sensor...it was installed and the idiot light is gone.
