Was looking at E Bay Germany for Opel parts...anyway, came across this...I am trying to understand this..but I believe it states only 500 made...I am sure with shipping it is over 100 American dollars...Love that ragtop look
Thanks for the inspiration. Searched Amazon and found a 1/24 scale model 2008 Sky, Chili Pepper Red. It's on the way here. $25.00 with shipping.

The 1/24 scale Sky on Amazon is made by Maisto not the model you listed Mike.

That was the point of this thread...all of us have the cars without the top up...it is the convertible that makes the model unique...and look at the quality...of course, it is a picture but it looks pretty good.

did u notice the tail lights are not Opel and the rotors are drilled. I wonder if the original Opels had drilled rotors. I don't believe they did..Hey, thanks for the research.

I've been looking for a model in Bluestone. I've found several in red, black and silver, but no Bluestone.
I think the maisto models (red bk and silver) were made with the car launch and at the time bluestone was not a color. There are several colors from that time not represented, including my yellow.
I thought about finding an experienced model maker to paint my maisto model... just never more than a thought
