This is how I drive...I will not stay closer than 20 feet in back of a car...but some trucks in the other lanes can get u sideways...nothing u can do about it....always try to drive with the least bit of traffic...unless your car is the daily driver...then u r out of luck.

Don't forget our breakfast on Nov 18th...10:30 AM

Drive and enjoy. Stay away from trucks, especially gravel trucks. But if you drive where there are rocks, you're going to get hit. Hit in windshield, body panels.

Mine is daily driver. I keep it washed and waxed...and look it over pretty good about once a week. I've only had a couple that have busted the clear coat, and one that drove to the primer, and one that made it to metal. These can only be seen by looking right at it from a couple of feet away. Well, the primer one can be seen a good distance. And I have a few dings on the windshield, but no cracks. I've had the car two months.

My philosophy is if I worry too much about it, I just won't enjoy the driving experience. I'll be too worried about something happening. So I've pretty much reconciled that this stuff WILL happen.

I'll be breaking out the touchup in a few weeks and give her a good once over before winter sets in.

It is impossible for me to keep her in "show" quality condition. I can see the imperfections. A trained eye can see them. I won't be winning any awards. But I tell you this. 99.9% of the general population sees a **** hot car in immaculate condition.

I have had more black birds fly into my windshield and three wild turkey's and two large geese suddenly dash in front of "Lucifer" !
So no rocks but I am getting tired of cleaning feathers and blood off the front grill -hood area and windshield!

Yep, cracked mine two months after I got it. Two other places where rocks have hit and an annoying ding on the hood. I have never had a car that attracts rocks like this one.

Thanks for the feed back. I feel like I should avoid cars when I drive, lol. Make believe all the other cars on the road are dividers!

The day after picking up my Sky I headed for Denver for a funeral. I had 166 miles on it when a truck flipped up a rock. It hit about a half inch from the edge of the windshield on the drivers side and it cracked immediately. I replaced the windshield and 5 weeks later I was hit by another rock which again hit on the edge, this time on the passenger's side. by the time I drove home it was starting to crack. This time there wasn't a car in front of me for more then half a mile. All I can figure is the rock was flipped up by a car in the opposite direction and I drove into it.
