XM Antenna Location
Question for the forum
Where is the XM antenna located for vehicles purchased with this option? I realize the black shark fin OnStar antenna is located on the trunk, but is this also the XM Antenna or no? If it isn't, where the heck is it? ![]() |

Thanks for the info. My reason for asking is that I am having a new head unit put into my Redline - Pioneer AVIC D2. I am a Sirius subscriber and have purchased the Pioneer SIR-PNR2 module. How do the Onstar and XM antenna lines run up to the head unit. Are there two separate cables - 1 for the XM and 1 for the OnStar?
Could I tell the installers to use the XM Antenna even though it will be for the Sirius? I also need to have the GPS antenna mounted on the trunk area too so that's another one which needs to go on. Last edited by rhian : 12-28-2006 at 11:43 PM. |
