The basic premis of your poll is flawed in my opinion.
Just because one either has the option to choose to not pile up a lot of miles on a vehicle or its intended purpose is other than a daily driver does not make it or the owner less acceptible.
You choose to drive your car as a primary vehicle and use it for both pleasure and when you do not want to walk or take the bus.
Good on you.
But tell the truth, if you had enough resources so you could choose from among multiple modes of transport would you not take advantage of that ability to choose.
And who is to say that a vehicle that is not driven as a daily driver is not "fulfilling its intended purpose" as a piece of art, a show vehicle or just something to be enjoyed in a different manner by its current owners?
Personally I have to choose none of the above. We drive our cars when we want. We are not conserving them, they are not "hanger queens". I drive mine to shows, on weekend trips and to commute. But I do not drive it when I dont want to drive it. Its clearly not a daily driver though in good weather it gets driven daily.

Whata bunch of Hocus Pocus.. Its a simple poll, is your car a daily driver or a toy? Yes? no?
If that answer above wasn't obfuscation I don't know what it is... It sounds like yours is a toy, or toy(s) in your case..

What's your definition of "daily driver" - the only car you drive?
I drive mine daily when the weather is nice and the road is dry (because I want to keep it shiny). I have another car I drive if I need to take more people or items than my Sky will hold or if it's raining.
So, yes, mine is a daily driver, but also a toy because I'll drive it just for the pleasure of it. You need a third category.
I'm seriously thinking in the Month of December that you all have consumed way to much nutmeg and might be slightly intoxicated. You have Midnight making this, Mike bitching about well....everything and Rob correcting everyone and spitting some knowledge. I think it's hilarious to read regardless.
My car is soley a Track Toy and nothing else. Using this car as a Daily.....uhhhhh I'm guessing you live alone. I personally can't wait for her to be done and I can start trading paint with other guys on the track.

I, too, have to go with "none of the above". Or "both of the above" if you prefer.
Like most of the US population, most of my driving is done solo, and most of the rest is done with one other person. Whether the Sky is "suitable" as a daily driver isn't really at issue for me. If I had 3.2 children and a dog, the situation might be different, but I don't.
I drive my Sky daily on those days that it isn't rainy, snowy, icy, or salty, and when I don't have to carry more than will comfortably fit into it.
I drive my Sky as a toy whenever I can. Sometimes that happens during those same daily driving tasks. Life is too short to not have fun whenever you can, and the Sky is nothing but fun. Unless it is rainy, snowy, icy or salty.
Lighten up guys. This isn't judgemental, just inquisitive.
Scale of 1 to 5 (daily to toy) my Sky is a 3.

Mine was a daily driver but is now retired like me.
I just completed a 2,000 mile roundtrip to Florida and back. 34.1 MPG averaging 65MPH. A months stay and brought back a passenger and all her luggage. She remarked about how comfortable it was.
My '99 Trans Am gets 25MPG and is only driven in the snow after I reconnect the battery.
Mabellene loves her big brother and will divorce me if I sell him...
