ZOK on a SKY?
I need to get confirmation from a GM source that (if) the Solstice ZOK package can be fitted on a SKY. Are there any GM folks here that can answer that or can anyone refer me to GM personnel that would be able to answer this?
Thanks for your help! Ross |

Welcome to the forum!
Don't know if any GM folks will weigh in, but I suppose I can forward a message on if any care to answer in private. Not the confirmation you're looking for, but wouldn't the Z0K parts work? I can't rattle off the components as you may want to tick each off, but I know the crossmember fits the same, and suspect the rest would as well. |

Excluding body and interior parts, anything that will work on a Solstice will work on a Sky.
The Z0K is an option package that omits things as well as adds them. It is not available for the Sky. It also authorizes the purchase of the racing hardtop, so that is not available for the Sky. The performance parts that are included can be fitted to the Sky, they just can't be ordered together as a factory option package.

That's what I thought.
My problem is that i need something from GM saying such as I'm working on something that needs an "official" word on it. And I haven't been able to find any appropriate GM contacts by searching the web. Any ideas? Thanks for the help! |

The only thing that really gives me pause is the differential. The Sky has three different "flavors" of differentials and each of them mounts to the car differently. Two of them are interchangable, one is not. You need to see how yours is mounted to the car. If there is a square support bracket that bolts on the side of your differential, then you'll be okay. However, if your differential has the support with a round rubber "eye" support bolted to the front of the differentail then you'll be missing some of the atachment points.
