Mostly a weekend toy. Plus maybe a couple evenings during the week. During the winter, once that first snow/ice hits and they sand/salt the roads. Then I won't drive it until I believe the roads are free of sand and chemicals.

While catching up on the forum (we have been out of town) came across this one.

We have the Sky, the GMC truck (2003), the 1998 Toyota 4-runner and last week we bought back the 25th anniversary camaro (our is 1 of 500 made) we sold when we ordered the RL. I knew when we sold the Camaro it was a mistake. Thankfully the buyer cared about the car as much as we did and took great care of the car.

This will be the only car. Everything else ...trucks!!! Toyota Tacoma Pre-runner and Dodge 250....for hauling: boats, horse trailers, boats, groceries, dogs, hay, grain, the inlaws,.... you get the picture. The Sky will be a weekend car ONLY! I NEVER thought I'd own another car..until I saw the <SKY>

Daily Driver toy

This is and will be my 'only' car/ Daily driver.

Florida, there are no snow/ ice issues

I travel and live out of rentals anyway...

Besides the 1000hp 1967 Mustang 'Eleanor' clone is in its 5th year of restoration and 10 to go...

I'm keeping the current car as I do need a family hauler, but will use the Sky as my daily commuter as well as the weekend playtoy.

As NC law frowns on strapping a young'un to one's hood...I'll say that the other car is going to have to stay for a least a few more years

Clear Sky Toy

Our Cougar is for my husband to drive to car shows & cruise-ins.
My GTP & the ZR2 will be for hauling grandkids, doing heavy shopping, and for driving in the rain &/or wintery days.

My Sky will be driven on nice days for playing, cruise-ins, running quick errands, and weekend trips.

After a long hard look at a Lotus Elise, I got the Sky specifically because it was more practical and comfortable as a daily driver. Great styling and reasonably good performance. The Elise will be added to the stable when I do decided to buy a "weekend" car.

Of course, I also have the Ion for those occasions where I have don't have the option of picking my favorite person from among the wife and two kids to go for a ride in the Sky.

Anytime I can drive my Sky...I drive my Sky.
If I can't drive my Sky (snow...salt....more than one passenger....cargo needs...I drive my other car).

Plan on selling my truck when the Sky arrives, so this will be my only daily driver. Bought my wife an Outlook when I ordered the Sky, so we have that for the family outings. (btw...the Outlooks are really nice, I was pleasantly surprised at how improved the interior quality was/is)

Our Sky is my wifes "get even" present for her birthday. She has a Wrangler which we are keeping as we live in Colorado. I have a VW GTI, Ford Ranger and a Sportster so between the two of us we have five vehicles. But please dont remind her.

The Sky is our third car, but it has become a daily driver. My car is also a two seater so the SUV is used for only hauling or shopping.

I intend to share time between my Kawasaki Concours motorcycle and my R/L when it comes in. Not sure yet which one I'll be able to pack more stuff into.

But I think I'll be able to put more on my bike.

But I have other vehicles around the house for trips to the store etc...

I have my 02 2500 HD 4x4 chevy, letting it rest, while I drive my SKY.
Wife has 06 Jetta diesel, for shopping, has no need to drive my SKY.
