Saw a video of that one, or one like it, not too long ago. Love it.

I just want to make sure it's not the battery before I through down the cash. Here's the latest. When I put the car up Monday, it was in limp mode going into the garage. It drove home fine after I reset the codes. Drove it for about an hour. Parked it in driveway for about thirty minutes and when I cranked it up to pull into garage, it went haywire again. I left it.

Now it's Thursday afternoon. I thought, "What the heck? I'll just start it and see what happens." Mind you, I haven't cleared the codes this time. I started it up and it ran just fine. However, the check engine light was still on, I'm assuming because the codes are still there and have not been reset. When I start the car, it sounds like the battery has plenty of power. Could this problem possibly be something else? What is strange is how sporadic it happens and how it clears itself up from time to time.

This inconsistency of the problem is very typical of a bad battery issue in these cars. It's simply maddening because it is so random.
