2009 redline new owner
new to forum - just got 2009 silver pearl redline 9-23-09
chrome wheels
bluetooth
awesome car, ordered from Houston and dealer drove to Baton Rouge to deliver. Total of 2 days from order to delivery. Really great price. Only mod was stubby antenna.

What's that?

Yeah the antenna is like so tall compared to the car. I was wondering about that.

It should have been auto-retractable or something.

A shorter antenna than what came from the factory. Think there a few threads on it. Many have bought the Opel antenna others have gone after market.

Shorter than the factory antenna?

Why go shorter? Might as well just roll with it...I think it should be even longer than it already is...a few feet longer than the stock antenna and you can tune in XM radio by hooking directly into the satellite.

Many think, and I'm one of them, gives the car a "bumper car" look. Just seems to look better with the shorter one...

Oh, I completely agree. The antenna is way too long, it's disproportionate to the car.

You gotta put the "sarcasm" filter on most of my posts.
