I take my australian sheppherd in the sky to the dog park every sunday..her leash has a place for the seat belt to go through so she has enough room to stick her head out but cant jump out..she thinks she is cool dog....

I haven't taken my Dog in the sky yet just because of the leather seat.
Bella loves to ride in the jeep.
Do you put anything on the seat to protect it?

I have a 4 paws harness that is padded on her chest.
You can slide a front seat belt through it so the dog can sit facing forward on a front seat, or you can attach a leader to it that clips to the child seat bars on a rear seat. In the Jeep, when 4wheeling, I have Nets in between the roll bars to further ensure that she can't go out the side. The rear seat is removed and I have her dog bed in there.

Since I am so small, if it's been a tough day, sometimes we will both just curl up and crash for a lunch break.

My dog loves riding in the Sky!

I just put his doggy bed on the seat and he jumps right in! - and he wears a harness also!

I drive my Aussie cattle dog around with me. She loves it.

The only problem is that on the way home from the dog park, she is awfully drooly!

(Quick...get out the "quick detail" spray and microfibre!!!)

Chili, He thinks he's the king anywhere he goes, and at 125 pounds they're aren't many people (or dogs) that argue with him about it.

I am currently thinking about getting a Sky Redline, and am going this weekend to test drive one. Just been searching the site for some info...and this is a good topic. Although, I don't have a Sky yet, I do have the doggles for the pup. He loves them! I got them at Pet Supplies & Pet Products: Doggles : Goggles for Dogs

I am trying to figure out how to post a pic of him and his doggles...lol

I don't have a Sky yet, but am going to look at a Redline this weekend after reading up on them and checking things out. What I do have is a loveable, 135# Lab/Spaniel Mix who owns his own pair of Doggles. Doesn't he look cool??? lol. I am not quite sure I'd be to confident to put him in the Sky right away, though.

Elff, Your dog is great. He looks like my old dog Jake. I lost him about 5 years ago. He passed away at 14. My best buddie Baxter hates the Sky. He don't want no part of it. He didnt like my Honda Peralude either. He likes the Jeep and the Z71 Chevy truck. Baxter just turned 4.

My Min Pin loves riding in the car, I hate it. She loves putting the window down herself which scares the heck out of me (wish I could lock the windows in this car). Two years ago she tried jumping out of my old car - thankfully I had a passenger that managed to grab her midair as she was halfway out of the window.

She gets paw prints EVERYWHERE, nose prints and snot all over the inside of the windows, and last month she POOPED in my car. Not regular little dog poopies, but a mushy, slimy, yucky mess. Not totally her fault as she had an upset tummy from visiting grandma's house (where grandma sneaks her people food) but needless to say I don't take her in my Sky much anymore.

If she was seat belted in, she wouldn't be able to jump out.
My dog wears a harness from FourPaws and the seatbelt goes through the back and locks her into place.

She still can put the window down.

Here's wacky Max. Normally he's in his little Sherpa carrier when we go cruising in the Solstice but Michael wanted to play with him while we were at Dairy Queen.

Ok, so instead of putting your Barney-Dog in the pickup truck, he goes for a blast in the 2 seat convertible. Are the two of you even under the weight limit? Great looking dog BTW! -J
