Eagle F1

I don't recall seeing this posted previously, but has anyone noticed that the standard Eagle F1 tires on the Red Line have the direction of rotation marked on them? Would appear that the tires can only be rotated to it's mate on the same side of the car. Interesting...!

True, but they are not asymmetrical, so they could be "moved" to the other side at some point by dis- and re-mounting.

This is not unusual with performance tires.

general consumer tires often have tread patterns and such that make no difference which way they are mounted or rotated.

The Goodyear F1 get rotated everyother oil change ... and I have about 36,000 miles on them and they are remarkably new tread depth.

When they wear down, I plan on replacing them with the Goodyear F1 "All-Season" tire.

Check-out either Home - Discount Tire Direct or Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season at Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels and take a look at this 'ultra-high performance all-season tire with DuPont Kevlar wrapped reinforcement.

Happy trails!
