Fender Side Vent Turn Signal

I did the same mod, you can buy the led strips at walmart. Make sure to get the ones that are mounted on the edge of the strip, not in the middle. You drill a hole big enough for the electrical wire to pass thru at the top of the fake fender vents, all the way to the inner most top corner. then you just connect the black wire to ground and then the red wire to the blue wire leading to the signal turn lights. I belive the leds were $28 for a pair.

Breaking new lol 2 State troopers stopped by our shop to purchase HID kits and i requested a moment of their time, I showed them my lights and they liked them. I asked whats the worse trouble i can get in and they told me by a pissed cop the worst they can do is a warning of some sort because of it might being a distraction to other drivers.... the way mine or mounted only project light backwards making them act as a tail lamp they said lol

Tried to post a small clip of my fender and sequential turn signals but was disallowed. Hmmm...it was a real player .mov extension. I will try pics at a later date.

Looks sweet and not rice at all. I was going to, or might still, do that to mine whenever I get around to completing my side markers. If it makes your car more visible to others when youre making a turn, Im all for it.

Hey how about this:


Cut the back off the fake fender scoop like Ricky D's and mount a LED strip behind the mesh on the fender wall. Red accent lighting for functional side scoops.

Oh by the way. I made my hood scoops functional. I drilled 5, 1" holes in the plastic mesh on each side and covered them with Stainless mesh inserts ( Car ID ). I put amber LED strips in behind on the back wall. The extra air flow cools down the engine temp by ~ 2 degrees celcius.

How do you keep water from running in and soaking the hood liner?

I have to clarify my post. the ones I am refering to are the two either side of the front water fall. The fake black honeycomb is mounted onto the plastic bumper, behind this is about a 2" airspace and then there is the steel part of the font end. drill 5 x 1" holes through the fascia and the plastic backing to which it is attache and you will have air flow through these scoops, which is then deflected up into the engine compartment. No water gets in to the engine bay just colder outside air pushed in as you drive. the faster you drive the more air is forced in.
