Bluestone

Okay - Bluestone doesn't look completely horribly in ALL the pictures - and I just saw what may be a very similar color oin person on a jaguar - might not be too bad - but still may not be on the top of my short list of choices anymore.

As I may have mentioned - Bluestone has certainly gone from the top of my list to the bottom - will reserve judgement until I can see it in person.

Also thinking that on the Red Line I might have to get someone to color match the paint and change the windshield, brake duct, and trim behind the seats painted in body color.

Our CEO had a Jag in the color I think you mean. It was godawful. Everyone called it the Easter Egg.

Looks easter

Robin Egg Blue nice timing this time of year (Easter) makes me want to till the vision goes away. That said think its a great colour if you are investing becouse 20 years from now its going to be one of 20 painted in 2006 this colour. becouse I'm sure not many going to want it unless its just the lighting.

In my opinion, to go N/A I took the solstice.. But to go turboed, the redline would take the cake.. HMMMM,, I might have to put in another order, then turbo the solstice with the hahn kit, if I don't do the 402..

Anyone else hearing rumors about tranny issues delaying the RL's release? This troubles me as I have several clients on the list, lol. I don't have the corporate contacts I used too.

IF that is the case (sounds like a likely situation t osome of us) the it may have to do wit the new support beam that GM designed for the tranny. The pics of the support beam came out a few weeks back with little to no explanation. Right now, dubbing this as the cause of the delay is still speculation.

I think the support beam isn't designed for the tranny (there are no problems), but to get a higher stiffness in the drivetrain.
Particularly the diff will get a steady position even with the higher torque of the GXP/RL. This could reduce the problem with the whining or solve it totally.

What delay issues are you referring to? The car is currently on schedule for release per what GM has been saying all along. If anything they might be slightly ahead with the RL's being made now when we all expected it to be closer to the end of August.
