Hahn, RPI, Fujita, GM???
It's been posted in a few threads that the Fujita CAI actually causes a power loss to the RL. At least one poster has stated that Hahn gave tips on getting the most out of the stock airbox and that it was better than the Fujita.
Could we please get some clarification? I bought a Fujita based on Kappasphere's dyno sheet and that I was told here that I would need a free flowing intake and exhaust (I got the Magnaflow) to compliment a better intercooler. The intercooler is supposedly where the better hp comes from. So please vendors, hotrodders, manufacturers, help us out. I want to do as much as I can to get the most out of this car, keeping the reliability and the warranty intact. It is my daily driver and I depend on it to get me to work 300 miles from home.

There's already been a ton of stuff about CAI's on here...just search for it.
Other than that...300 miles of driving A DAY?!

Well the Fujita in my RL does not work properly it throws off the airflow. People say it is the design of the pipe probably the size of the pipe where the air flow meter is positioned. Causes bogging when you really get on the car if you let off the throttle a bit it kicks back in and takes off so you have to modulate the throttle to get the performance instead of being linear.
I am going to contact Fujita I have not even filled out my warranty papers yet. Now this problem may only happen once you have the BSR tune where the boost is going up to 21+ psi. Also, I have a list of other mods that I installed all at the same time. Yet, others say the same thing even Hahn to put the stock intake back on and it will go back to normal which it did. So that kinda stands to reason there is a design flaw in the Intake.

no problems with my dejon intake other than excessive intake noise lol. i dont throw any codes or have any problems with mine but i think for the intake to be effective it needs more cold air other than hot engine air, like rerouting the brake vents to the filter directly and enclosing it completely to keep engine heat out, that would be so tight if someone could do that, id buy it.
