Lambo Doors

Hello
I am a new member, I didnt even know this site existed but Im looking forward to being involved in it for sure.
Does anyone here have Lambo doors on their Sky? If so, could you maybe tell me where you got the kit and was it hard to install?

Thanks so much in advance.

I looked into this about a year ago and found that VDI was the best. There are many companies that offer these door kits, but many are not up to standards. You get what you pay for, is so very true in this modification. Expect to pay between 1200.00 to 1400.00 for a good kit and 600.00 to 800.00 for the labor. From what I understand it takes 2 persons about 8 hrs to do a professional job. Good luck with this project, I would jump on it but need to put my money in the engine.

And yes, they may look cool but keep in mind that it's going to add a bunch of weight to the car. If that's something you don't mind, its all good...

Well I do think they are kinda cool. Yea people put them on all kinds of cars these days but still, they look good on a sports car. If you have a show car then definetly. I've been back and forth wanting them but have finally decided not to get them. Finding someone who really knows how to install them is hard to do if your not in the right area and that's a chance I don't want to take.

But if you like them, go for it.

Lambo doors are pretty cool and make the sky look like an expensive roadster, i met this guy at a car show and invited him to another car show, just that day he had the lambo doors on his yellow redline and they looked neat, they are not for me, but, it is your car and you do what you want with them... by the way, I love the Yello sky's and solstices!

Love my Verticle Doors

We bought the kit from Verticle door Inc. and just love them. We were at a show this weekend with 11 other Kappa cars and I can tell you that the lambo doors really stole the crowd. Here's a photo.

I totally agree! I am also not into lambo doors too. People make fun of honda/acura/toyota or other cars having lambo doors and stuff.......so why follow the trend of the ricers?

Skys already have a modern and sleek look......I'm happy with the original settings.

why put lambo doors in a non-lambo car?

I am not dissing people who like lambo doors and have lambo doors in their sky/solstice.......sorry if I offended anyone. Just voicing out my opinion.

I like them....but it is not for me. Again, to each his own.

If I win the lotto...then I'll get my lamborghini w/ the doors that go up
