My Sky has been damaged...

My Sky was left in the hands of an auto broker for the last 4 months.

I just received my car back yesterday and to my surprise, the car was not taken care of. My exhaust has been bent or somehow shifted out of place and my windshield has been cracked! On a side note, the car seemed like it hadn't been washed for a while and there were cobwebs inside the car surrounding the dash.

Even though the broker says he took the car in for the previous recall service, now I don't necessarily believe him and need to check. Anyone know if I can verify this through any dealership?

The pipe can be fixed, the windshield can just crack from sitting, glass is glass. Call your dealer with the VIN number to get any updates info. You have the rear end recall and if an 08, the brakes re-programming. WTF you doing leaving this beast with some dimwit broker? how many miles were added?

Long story short, I was supposed to be getting another car and the broker was the quickest way out. I'm going to hold on the the Sky though. They have come out with some nice items for the car since I got rid of it, so I'll use it as my fun car.

The car had an additional 2700 miles. I'm sitting at around 11,600 now.

A little scratched up, but could've been from me. I'm taking the car in to Saturn on Tuesday to do the service and check up.

Hopefully all is well.

What a disgrace, to put thousands of miles on a car left there for consignment! You should report him to DMV.

There's various ways of doing it, but I went to a company that specializes in tinting and vehicle wraps. They used a similar smoked out film to wrap my lights.

4 months ~ 120 days

2700/120 = 22.5 miles per day.

The tail pipe looks like a loose clamp. Each side is clamped to the muffler. If its not already loose, loosen it, push the exhaust tip up and retighten the clamp.

I had it looked at today. That's exactly what it was.
It has been fixed.

Question... Are the bumpers on every sky a little mis-aligned? When I run my finger down the side of the car it feels as though the bumper is pushed out a bit (both front and rear).

The mechanic said it is probably a factory defect.
