New to the Sky Family! 2009 Silver RL

Hello Everybody,

I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking for a couple of weeks now. I actually bought a 2008 Sky base about a week ago... After driving it, I realized I needed the Redline. I traded it for a 2009 last night, and now I'm in heaven. The hard part is babying it during the break-in period. 500 miles? 1000?

Its a 2009 Silver Pearl Redline w/ Red Leather inserts and Chrome Wheels. I don't have pictures yet, but I think many members have this combination.

I'm in the Baltimore/Annapolis area. I have family down in St Marys Co, so I often drive down that way. I noticed a lot of members from these regions.

I'm planning on during a JPM leather wrapped center console, and possible visor covers. Though, I might try the spray-on rubber trick for the idiot warnings instead.

Anyway, Hello All!

-Jason

P.S. RAJay = Red Alert Jay ... its a nickname

Welcome Jason!! Congrats! The manual says 500, doesn't it. You could try for 1000, but sounds like a long tough time to hold back.

Congratulations on purchasing your new Sky, and then making the better choice and up grading to the Red Line. I have an '08 Silver Pearl, chromes, w/red & black. It's a great combination and I get a lot of compliments. I'm sure you will too. You're right, yours is a pretty active area, with a lot of people to give a helping hand if you need one.

Welcome and congrats. You'll be surprised how fast that brake in period goes when you can't drag yourself out of the drivers seat. Let the perma grins begin.

I can totally understand your need for dual scroll turbo. Its just that once you use it once its kinda like crack. Gonna be haaaaaaaard to kick now and go back to a non forced induction vehicle.

Congrats, Jason. You can find some flat black spray paint and paint over the visor lablels. We can assist you this weekend at the mod meet. They visors are simple to remove.

Welcome

Welcome to the family. Enjoy your new Redline. I have the JPM visor covers and love them. They give you a chance for custom embroidary...in any case the wait for breakin time is well worth it...

I'm going to hit 500 miles today! Not that I'm gonna go crazy or anything I'm going Deep's Mod Meet tomorrow and Joe from JPM is going to be there. Hopefully, I'll get to see his work first hand in some of the cars and also get to talk to him personally about what I would like done to mine.
