Red Line Badges

Does any one know the part number for the Red Line Badges? I want to replace the GM Chicklets with the Red Line Badges. I did a search and could not find them.

I took mine off the first day I had the car. All they do is grab the towel when your cleaning the car!

This is from p. 922 of the GM/Saturn parts/repair manual.
I have the section which has the illustrations / replacement part #s / and est. repair times for the 2007-2008 Saturn Sky.

Click on the thumbnail & it is #19 on the illustration -

The problem is that they come in a pack with the word SKY, part no. is 15258628, bought them the other day at our dealer.

This is correct. The previous owner of my vehicle either decided he wanted a sleeper or more likely was just a raging moron and debadged the car I'm guessing to "transfer" the Turbo and Redline badges to another vehicle. I reordered and they came with the Sky & Turbo badge in the set as mentioned above.

OK, then I guess I will have to go to see my freinds at Saturn of Tampa. Maybe they can "forget to order" a set of badges like my front grill.

Here's an idea...if you absolutely hate the idea of having a GM placard on your GM made car, why don't you sell it and get something that's a little more fashionable? Like a nice BMW 3-series, or an Acura RL or a Mercedes C-Class...then you won't have to be embarassed when your friends seeing you in a GM...You don't see people in BMWs trying to remove their placards (unless they want to attach them to a gold chain and wear them around their neck)
Just drive the SATURN and enjoy the ride, and show a little pride in ownership.

Then why not buy a car that has painted calipers already? Why not buy a car that already has flashy door lock pulls? Why buy a car and change anything about it? If you dont like it the exact way it came maybe you should get something else.

Wow, first of all I have 2 GM cars. My wife drives an HHR and I have not removed the GM badges. I have only ever owned US made cars. why dont you chill out. I'm over 40 years old and it's my car. I can to it what I like. I was only thinking that there is no Saturn markings on the side of the car and it would look stupid with two chicklets next to each other. But thanks for your input.

tinkering and upgrading definitely yes!...changing the cars identity is different. Though I don't think the GM thing is that big of a deal. Removing the GM chicklets is not that big of a deal...it's not like you're trying to find a new grill and remove the Saturn badging... proceed.

No problemo...you can do what you want. It's fine. It's all good. I bought my Sky when I was 40 too, that great...but, I'm confused...why would you have two GM chiclets on the side of your Sky? PD

I think what was being said is:
Since there is one GM chicklet on each side of the car - if you add the little Red Line Chicklet on each side,
it would make 2 chicklets per side if you failed to remove the GM one.
And that is why they want to remove the GM chicklet.

I noticed my car was the only one in my parking lot at work that did not have a "Toyota" badge on it, so I bought one and put it right above where it says "Sky".

Just kidding.
