Just wanted to tell everyone that I got my vin number today and my car is now a real car not a number anymore it is at 3800 not long now after the long wait of aug 17

I took peoples advice and started to call all the dealers within a 75 mile radius of my home. I got lucky as one came in on Tuesday it was a customer order and the guy cancelled it. I picked it up today and literally drove it off the showroom floor. The REDLINE is hot! I now have a whopping 54 miles on the car. I can't wait for the warmer weather!!

hi my redline is here i seen it yesterday but the dealer said i had to wait until monday before i get to take her home cant wait 48 hours wait until home ordered 6 17 06

Drop in we are in South Texas just north of San Antonio. I had her out, top down, this week, 75 degrees here. The chromies I thought you were talking about were the mirror chromies.

The chrome on the mirrors may be a little much for me, but they would offer some paint protection. The only option we plan to install are the mud flaps. Will have these installed next time we are the dealer.

If anyone has installed the chrome on the mirrors, please share.

bought one off a lot brand new. Was gonna order but was told there was at least a year wait (heard this from every dealer i spoke to). Got it on 2/17. Silver Pearl with red leather interior. 6 cd changer/mp3/XM. Chrome wheels, spoiler, and 5 spd manual. What a kick ass car!

Got it on 2/15 at Saturn of Downers Grove (Chicago). It was near 0 real temp and 15mph wind. Drove it home leasurely in two days. Wife loves it (didn't think she would like to drive in it but 740 miles was an initiation.) She now wants to take it on a trip to Colorado this summer.. It drove very well in the packed snow and got good mileage on the way home.

I know where you're coming from - This is the first car where I will come home from work and my wife will say.... "Let's go for a ride!" Haven't done that since I had my 69 Nova SS (Rallye Green)... When it was NEW!
