S2000 down

I've always wondered if I can take a bolt on S2000. Turns out, yes. An old guy in a lowered S2000 with at least intake and exhaust switched lanes and slowed down and started revving at me. We both kicked it from about 35 and I pulled about a car on him. Dude put his window down and yelled "supercharged?" and I just gave him a thumbs up and said good run. Fun trip to the liquor store!

Mostly. K&N, tune, and exhaust.

To the wheels an AP1 or AP tuned with exhaust and intake will put down 210whp 155trq, so its a given.

Isnt the AP2 bumping 260 stock? Ive beein wondering the samething since one past me while I was driving my gf Altima. I couldn't help but think wish I was in my RL.

The S2000 is a slow car in a straight line. I would have been very surprised if you couldn't have beaten it in a RL.

No, the F22 pretty much has the same horsepower as the F20, the only difference was that the F22 was a stroked engine. This was because Honda wanted to give the S2000 some more torque. The Redline on the F22 was set at 8200 compared to the F20's 9k redline.

Nothing a Vortech Supercharger kit can't fix. I have a buddy that's on 91oct putting down 370whp 234trq. You would most likely get raped in a stock RL. They are very light as well.

No question. But we're not talking about heavily modified cars. I'm sure I can go into Frankfurt and rent a 911 GT3 for the day that would "rape" your friends S2000. There is always a faster car somewhere.

Actually, if you can believe it, I also have a friend with a supercharged S2000 (and a slew of other suspension and performance upgrades) that took me for a ride around the Nordschleife two years ago. That ride is actually what inspired me to buy the RL. No doubt, his car was seriously quick.

The S200 is similar to the Toyburu FRS/BRZ
Very good handling car that IMHO falls short on power in stock form.
A stock redline should have no issue with a stock S2000.

At my elevation our old CRX walks on the S2000.

And I am Honda guy, but I am also realistic about their abilities in stock format. The Japanese seem to get stomachaches with high torque.
